Computer Science Workshops

One hour coding intensives that expose elementary, middle, and high school students to the power of computer science.

Students will learn basic coding skills through block based coding and using programming languages such as HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and Python.

Students are able to use their skills to start to build small mini games and projects. Each student is put on a self paced curriculum that matches their interests and skillset.

Workshops are intended to foster a collaborative learning environment for students. We allow them to work individually with a partner. We encourage each student to support one another.

Our goal is that every students is provided affordable access to computer science education. Each workshop offered through the public library is free of charge.
